Cardiovascular Profile And Risk of Patients During Non-Cardiovascular Surgery Scheduled at Sylvanus Olympio University Hospital in Lome

Objective: To describe the cardiovascular profile and preoperative risk stratification prior to scheduled non-cardiac surgeries at CHU SO. Materials methods: This is a retrospective descriptive study on records of patients received in consultation Cardiology anesthesia departments CHU-SO Lomé from March 2014 October 2019. Results: A total 220 patient were selected. The mean age was 57.1±14.4. In 81% cases, these are minor predictors; intermediate predictors found 9.1% cases 1.4% they major factors. Patients classified as ASA1 (50.0%), ASA 2 (39.1%), 3 (9.6%), ASA4 (41.3%). As increased, had predictor factor or ASA3 ASA4. operative hypertension (70.3%) followed by correlated with sex (48.2%) men, metabolic syndrome (21.8%), left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) (21.0 %). Intermediate dominated diabetes (9.1%), chronic myocardial ischemia (6.8%), RI (4.5%). (9.1%) morbid obesity (7.7%) Heart failure (1.4%) renal (4.5%) Conclusion: for NCS multiple observed same patients. overall moderate medium.
